Health Cluster is taking organizational steps forward to help Haiti

Haiti Health Cluster Bulletin 15 Highlights
  • The Health Cluster has created a new subgroup on information management in order to improve its organization and enhance decision making.  
  • The Dominican Civil Defense, with support from the Haitian Civil Defense and UNDP - Dominican Republic, will establish a shelter in Croix des Bouquets for at least two months. The camp will be situated in Santo #17, with a capacity for 2,000 people.
  • Organizations arriving to Haiti should preferably stay for a period between 6 months to one year in order meet existing needs and ensure the continuity of care.
