MEXICALI, Baja California sep/14/10
An earthquake with preliminary magnitude of 5.4 degrees on the Richter scale, struck early this morning to Mexicali Valley and San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora.
At 3:52 hours the shock woke people.
According to preliminary reports, the epicenter was located near Guadalupe Victoria, in the Valle de Mexicali.
"It felt very strong in San Luis," said Chronicle photographer Alberto de la Hoya.
Currently there are no reports of damage or damaged, but the authorities remain vigilant.
Just last April 4 was recorded in the region the earthquake measuring 7.2 degrees on the Richter scale.
